Brainspotting is a further training course for legally regulated health professions, so in Austria the following professional groups are permitted to attend trainings:

• – Clinical psychologists and Health psychologists
• – Psychotherapists, who the Federal Ministry lists
• – Doctors whose job descriptions may include the use of the method

And of our colleagues in Germany, the following professional groups who are permitted to work in healing professions are permitted to attend Brainspotting seminars:

• – Alternative practitioners for psychotherapy
• – Psychological psychotherapists and
• – Physicians.
