SUMMARY:NEM Masterclass
DESCRIPTION:David Grand – who is not currently traveling for training – will not be in Vienna in person.\nHowever\, the live stream to New York will bring him very close to us and the other European participants.  \nThe premiere of this innovative three-day master class allows Brainspotting practitioners to experience the method just as David Grand uses it.\nThe enriching multicultural setting is made possible by the organizational alliance of Brainspotting representatives across Europe and South America. \nSince the discovery of Brainspotting\, Dr. Grand has always remained curious about what the open and accessible method – probably still – holds within itself and is interested in sensing its influential factors on a subcortical level.\nIn 2021\, he wrote up the Neuroexperiential Model for the second International Brainspotting Conference\, where he presented it for the first time. \nToday\, the NEM model is an essential and pioneering component of his work.\nHe interweaves Western and Eastern approaches to healing to achieve the best possible results for and with clients.\nIn this masterclass\, he will first theoretically share his profound ideas with us. He will then move into practice by working with volunteer participants on their stories\, role-playing colleagues in their client’s shoes\, and demonstrating a neuro-experiential approach to Brainspotting.\nAfter demonstrating the practice\, he will close the circle by picking out certain theoretical content and addressing questions based on this (Q&A).\nTerms and content that will be covered: \n\nSensory gating\nExperiences with Flashbacks\nDissociation as an opportunity (dissociative adaptation)\nredefine the frame for our clients\nand much more.\n\nPrerequisite: already completed Brainspotting Phase 1 Training.\nTraining Times: 13:00 – 22:00 CET (1h break after the first half) \nParticipation is credited with 28 training units (BÖP\, ÖBVP – in Austria).
